![]() 1For this image I used my own glitched, colourful background that I then overlayed and image over. I then used the smudge tool you find on photoshop to drag the subject side to side to create this spikey, broken look. I like this experiment as it is really like a glitch and it gets across my message well that we pass by unnoticed in this digital world. | ![]() 5 |

![]() 2 INSPIRED BY VISCONTIthis caused an impact in changing the face in a small but largely effective way as it allowed me to keep the surroundings clear while still keeping the model glitched and corrupt. Visconti used similar techniques with a warped face and a normal background. | ![]() 3For this I used a square brush and many different colours to drag off of the models face. I like the outcome very much especially after I turned it black and white as it made it a lot harsher and darker which matches my theme of a corrupt society. |
![]() 4This was my experimentation on how to create odd coloured photos while still seeing the subject. All I did was copy the photograph layer 3 times and put each layer on the 'subtract' overlay effect which reversed the colours and created this broken look. I believe I will use this technique in my final piece. | ![]() 6Inspired by MAGNO. I used magno's technique to experiment with replacing the face with glitches instead. This was very effective and has a great look to it as you can still figure out what the subject is. |
![]() 7For this image I overlayed a glitched image and cut up the image. It was simple but very effective as it gets my message across in a less confusing manor. |
