For this project I am going to capture as many photos as I can of people on their phones and using technology in public (mainly in crowded areas like a town, trainstation or shopping centre) and I may take a model to pose with their mobile for a few experimentation photographs.

I will require a HD camera or a DSLR to ensure I have the right settings to capture the motion of the train in the background using a slow shutter speed and keep the model clear in the foreground. I will need a tripod to keep my camera steady as the train and the people of the town pass by my photograph so that my model doesn't become blurred.

I will then use photoshop to experiment and digitally enhance my photographs using artificial lighting and 'glitch' effects. This will symbolise the idea of technology taking over and will represent how we pass by millions of people without acknowledging them on a daily basis even when we're meant to be socialising in public. It shows that the things that were meant to connect us are actually making us the most antisocial beings on the planet.
